this is my second year of driving a saxo 1.1 and ive had two claims made agaist me (2nd one wasnt my fault i was framed) and last week it was time too get some more insurance. after looking around cheapest i could find for tpft was £2300 which really pissed me off! then some1 told me about hsbc rung them up and i got quoted £1200 tpft which is quite cheap seeing as am 20. also after 8 months i get 1 year ncb which is cool! any one whos in the same boat as me should give them a ring

The only problem with them 8 month policies and we will give you a years no claims is that 99 times out of 100 they will require you to stay with them for a further year for your no claims to be valid. That would be OK until your renewall is up and you end up paying more than the first year.
Trust me, i had a friend who got conned the same way. READ the small print very carefully.
Good insurance companies for young drivers, usually, are:
Tesco
Quinn Direct
Adrian Flux (Broker but they will find you a decent quote)
Asda
or if you are Female, pretty much anybody you like as they will all be cheap
