I was told that the C2 VTR had a 1.6 16v engine but in comparison to the C2 VTS it has different cams and a different throttle body, so the power is lower.

Theyre not very nice cars imo, liked em when they came out but theyre nopthing special and theyre meant to be a really boring drive too.

My brothers got the c2 GT its 110bhp 1600 16v same engine as the c2 vtr i think just think the c2vtr has a gay gearbox so its slower.
The GT is about the same speed as a saxo vtr so i guess the saxo vtr should beat the c2vtr if that makes sense?

ok so if the C2 VTR has a 1.6 16V 110bhp engine and the C2 GT has a 1.6 16V 125bhp engine, then what is the spec for the C2 VTS??

I always thought the only difference between the VTR and the GT was that the GT is limited edition and they both had 110bhp and the VTS had 125bhp! so correct me if im wrong, but post proof to prove im wrong!

Spot on mate, Look into this couple times cos quite like the C2's :homme:

Yes I know they are no saxo but what is these days? The best way of doing it is to find a good GT then just add the bits VT bodykit which are only little Spats at the front and back I think +that way you get the white wheels to, the GT is alittle bit lighter too I think not much but abit.

A woman I work with has a VTR in black with GT white wheels with the semi auto box and never takes it out of auto . . . I think the husband picked it out cos it looks nice which it does but whats the point! Crap seats tho :p

Even the C2 VTS's are shite! My friend had a saxo vtr an swears its quicker than his c2 vts. Nice little touches on the inside tho.

I'll agree with that although I haven't driven one, there are some really nice details inside and outside to. Shame its Citroens Hotest Hatch at present.

Maybe if they had given it abit more klout in the form of a supercharger or small turbo like the CooperS or Colt turbo thingy then I think it would have been more of a match for say the hot Cilos and other hot hatchs but the way it is its abit luke warm
