high temp

New to this sight bought a vtr a few months ago but it has started to worry me. the water temp gauge reads 3/4 changed the thermostat and the radiator but problem persists. No sighn of cylinder head passing. is there a elctrical sender that's sends the reading to the gauge and if so where is it located.

hey gill, firstly welcome to saxperience. you checked the water system for an air lock? i had a new radiator and the temp read high abnormally. turned out to be an air lock!

thanks the radiator and system has been checked. hi thanks for the input, should have said the temp was reading high before so it was a last resort to change it.
