dont know if anyone has seen this on SSC or not but they have a list of abriviations and what they mean. such as imo= in my opinion, etc. anyone think this would be a good idea to do something like this and have it as a sticky in "General Chat"??

I think when I joined the site in December last year there was a sticky subject in General chat, not 100% sure though.

Was there Luke!?! I don't remember seeing such thing.
People could always refer to this. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_slang_phrases)

There was a sticky in General Shat but I think it was un-stickied during the change from the old forums?
And there is a difference between TLA's/FLA's (three/four letter acronyms) and text talk. One is a perfectly acceptable part of the modern English language, the other is used by chav twats who can't muster the necessary braincells to type words in full i.e. 'c' instead of 'see'. Abbreviations are fine, use text talk and i'll ban you into next week :P
Personally I don't see why a sticky would be useful as there are only a few abbreviations which I can think of off the top of my head which are acceptable- things like imo and iirc.

i agree with the "Chav Twats" part, just a suggestion as i thought it would be benifical for the newbies
