Am i the only one that doesn't like the C2? It doens't look anywhere near as nice as the saxo and the base models look horrible with the unpainted bumpers!!! I thought they learned that lesson with the saxo as the later versions of the base model had painted bumpers.

And don't get me started on the paddle Shift, how do you change gear if the wheel is turned? I wouldn't be able to find the shifters

barrett

by using the sequential gear that are located on the gear stick!!!!!!!!

Maybe not, I drove my dads Civic Type-R once, unfortunately it was still being run in so i could get to using the V-tec, and i thought the gear stick would be hard to use as its located halfway up the dash, but it was dead easy and in fact probably easier.

How many hands do you normally have on the wheel? I normally only have one unless im taking a corner, so then you can't reach the shifters can you?

sorry to burst your bubble enbwstein but there IS a gear lever on the c2, just doesn't work in the same way as a manual one does but is still there! up down only but does the same!

Oh well, I didn't know there was a gearlever. So you can change gear with that then? That would make it easier then. Do you use that most the time or the paddle shifters?

that colour is nice but i've seen a brighter one

C2_VTR

The C2 in yellow is brighter than that and I tend to use the paddle shift most of the times, its more comfortable. only use gear lever for reverse or when I haven't got the steering wheel straight.

Only problem of not having clutch is my left leg goes numb for not doing anything!

yellow ferrari enzo or 360 stradale , mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! yellow is ferrari's house colour, not red as most people tend to think n not a lot of people know that!!

Black's the devils colour, it shows up all dirt/grime/scratch/abrasion, a real bitch! regular t-cut needed to keep it looking sweet, looks nice when clean mind!

i love the interior of the C2's. look sexy as feck and pactical too which is always a bonus!!

9th May 2004, 23:40
Well mine is black as you can see from the avatar, my saxo was black and can agree with Will, they show up all the dirt and scratches!

I've now got some scratches from some stupid kids playing football on my road and where the dirty ball hit my car there are scratches!

Anyone know of a good scratch remover? Got black t cut wax but is there anything that works better?

theres turtle wax scratch remover i used it on my wrx god i miss that car lol after some little wanker hit it iwith a tree brach got the scuffs out perfectly put it on then work it in then polish car blended the vtrs black your dead right what a pain in arse to keep clean

The plus is when you get it all olished up nice it looks real nice! Usually the thicker the polish/wax the better its gonna be at getting rid of scratchs, acts like a filler n just rubs those cuts out!

Cheers for that guys, is just some of those annoying things that you think your car is safe and then you get home and there are ball marks on it from kids playing about on the road!

Got some good polish but gonna try the scratch remover tomorrow (if it doesn't rain) and see how it works.

Think that would be the same type of colour as the gt wouldn't it? smileys/smiley4.gif That is no way to treat a car such as the vtr, to compare it with gimmicks smileys/smiley2.gif

The VTR is the original, gt is just so they can sell more, I don't mind the gear change, is more relaxed! I don't really do 0 to 60 anyway, would prefer track racing if I got the chance instead and for that paddles are alright!

I haven't actually used it yet, I was finishing meshing the bumper and didn't get a chance to do it, maybe tomorrow... But when I DO use it I'll post it up, got another mark on it yet again so really have to shoot some kids next time I see them!

Well I used the turtle wax scratch remover and it did cover up most of the scratch! I really does work so I recon I just need to use a good thick wax, like the turtle wax one I bought at the same time but didn't get to use and it should cover up most of it! Maybe its cause of it being a bit deeper than normal so it didn't cover them up all but would use again for definate.

Cheers guys smileys/smiley14.gif
