i am looking for some advice about a warning light that has come on since i changed my clutch.
i have a 98 vts with no handbook so need your help.
the light is orange, it looks like the road sign for a slippery surface ahead that you get at the start of a twisty road (best explanation of what it looks like).
does anyone know what this means, also how to get rid of it or check it out.
i have had a look in the haynes manual but it is not shown in it.
any help on this is much appreciated
thanks

Its your ABS mate.

Its not uncommon for the sensors to malfunction on the vts so hopefully thats all thats wrong.

You need to identify which one it is and just replace it.

Should check it out asap, dont want to have fluffed abs this time of year

as said above its abs

it might of been knocked when taking the clutch out or may just need cleaning

if not a sensor will need replacing think there about £30ish for the part

just been out and checked the sensors on front wheels all seemed ok, so i started car and drove it a little while applying brakes firmly and softly and low and behold the light has gone off.
i'm gonna keep an eye on it though.
cheers for the help mystic and hesslevtr
