i think my amp has blown. the light is off plus the sub doesnt work.

Is my amp dead or could it be something like a fuse needs changing. maybe the one by the car battery.

Not really to sure about this stuff so i might be talking crap

Any help would be appreciated

cheers

just check the connections, unplug power cable from battery disconnect all connections, power cable in amp, earth into amp and where its bolted to the car, remote wire from amp to HU, all fuses checked. put them all back in then put power cable back onto battery and see if its working

Does It Have A Security Light, Usually A Red One, If Thats On Check Earths, As This Red Light Will Lock The Amp (security Measure), Turn Of Amp And Turn Bakc On And It Should Be Ok, Other Than That If It Doesnt, You Cant Really Tell If Its Faulty Unless It Doesnt Work At All! If You Get What I Mean, Just Make Sure The Blue Wire Is Plugged In At The Back Of The Stereo (remote Wire)

What do you think would be best to power KENWOOD KFC-W3514DVC

either Kenwood KAC-929 1000 Watt Car Audio Amplifier
or JBL GTO 601.1 Car Audio Amplifier
