yesterday the saxo seemed to develop a flat spot in every gear at 2.5k to 3k. today this got alot worse and the flat spot just did it when ever it wanted to.
to try and solve the problem i took it for a good thrash down the motorway and put some injector cleaner in the tank aswell. didn't work.
then the Engine Management light came on (looks like a tap) so took it to Citroen and they said that it would cost me £65 to get it on the machine for an hour to find out what it was, told them not to bother.
its going up to Citroen in the morning and going on the machine now for free though a contact there.

But, i was thinking it could be the coil pack and was wondering what else it could be??

Sounds like it could be coil pack related, not too keen on the engine light though. Hopefully the all mighty machine will give you some suggestions, he seems to know his stuff.

been to Citroen this morning and got it on the diagnositic machine and it said that threr was a fault with the Upper Air Flow Sensor, this turned out to be the green conector on the Lamda sensor had come loose. this was fixed with three cable ties. something simple but so simple it was over looked.
