Hi, I'm a newbie - HELP!

Desperately need some advice - I've just snapped the bonnet stay -clip on the car!!!
It's cold so should have checked the water etc earlier, I know - but don't get home till late...........and its plastic.......

Anyway, what on earth can I use to secure the stay until I can replace the plastic fitting - if I can replace it?
Any ideas??

Thankful for any help as I need to use the car for work everyday - 35mile trip in rushour.....

oops! forgot to say, but have a black saxo 1.1l desire
