Hi m8´s... Please help me...
I have both new rims and tiers (185/55/15") and will receive them in 2 days. I have a little problem. My Saxo 1.1i Furo has (probably like all other models) something inside rear right fender. Picture is not good so it is no point in uploading it. I don't know will my new rims and tiers fit inside without any modification to this strange thing (probably injection or something really similar). Please help me. I have one more day to cancel my order if they are not right for my car. Thanx in front.

11.5" would be the radius of the wheel and tyre.

so if u measure from centre of hub towards the black box thingy on the right hand side i think it should be ok... but you would be better off with 195/45/15" tyres

Roads in Croatia are not in too good condition. I have fears of puting on anything thiner then 50. Cant decide. Do you think that 195 will look beter. How about 195/55/15"? Problem is that I cant see any saxo from close with this size of tiers so I will belive you on your word. You will be my eyes. lol

from what i can see thats the part of the fuel filler system and you shouldnt be hitting that!

though the tyres you have chosen have a large side wall you should still have enough clearance, if not why not try a 185/50 tyre, these will still have a larger side wall but not to large

I will have to put them on to see. It looks like 195/55/15" will fit. Orginal tiers are 165/65/14" and there are some room left. Thanx for help. Will let you know how it goes.

it shouldnt rub on the fuel filler, normally 18's start to rub on the neck, but your over all rolling radius is about an inch less so you should have room to play with smileys/happy.gif

I have final measure what will fit inside. My radius (measuring inside rear right fender) must be max 295 mm so I have chosen tiers 195/50/15". They have radius of 292,5 mm. They will fit smoothly inside. Now finally I have solved problem regarding height of tier and now have come to problem regarding width of tier. Is 195 to much? Don't know will it fit in the back. What tiers do you use?

not sure about tyre dimensions etc.

Where about is the ''fuel filler pipe??'' It may also be a problem with passengers in the car?? Not exactly sure of the location of said pipe but if it is at the top with passengers in the car it may rub?

If you are standing at a right side of your car by the rear right fender looking your self in rear right window...lol...it would be at right side in side your rear right fender (:-D I now but I am trying to explain exactly).

right smileys/smiley17.gif

i have 195/45/15 on my car... and the back is lowered quite a bit.. you will have no problems with 195/50/15 as i previously had these fitted to my car smileys/happy.gif

the only problem you will have.. is that inside the rear arch.. at the top. there is a lip.. this needs cutting out.. or bending up.. so its flat with the bodywork.. after this has been done.. you will have no problems till you get very low smileys/smiley4.gif

Thanx Mark. This is what I wanted to hear. 195/50/15" is a GO then. I was afraid that it will overlap out of rear fender (that it will not fit inside it/under it). This is good news.
