i deliverd and set up a new plasma to a customer a few weeks ago and he had a old 50" Pioneer there, i asked him what was wrong with it and he said it turns off all the time, and he offered it to me. and of course i said YES!
so got it home had alook at it and he was right it does turn off, i had a look at the power supply and it was covered in dry joints so i resoldered the lot and it now works fine!:p
heres a pic of it on the wall downstairs. sory bout the pic qualilty!

yh he just gave it away because he thought it would be to much to repair!!!
have a guess how much it was new about 4-6 years ago

Then again our plasma cost £5k when we bought it like a decade ago and its only a 32"

i did mate! my dad brought it off me! there on ebay and are going for about £800, i sold it to him for £300, so he got a bargin! and i still get to watch it downstairs!
