are they all the same on vtr,s???

get the coilpack to match the wiring loom.the socket that plugs into the coilpack is either grey or black,the socket on the coilpack is either grey or black.they dont run properly if the incorrect one is applied.im going to find out why but at the moment i couldn't tell ya lol

I found this out yesterday! Got a coil pack from the scrappy from a year old 206, it looked identicle to the one on my car and only after fitting it did i find the plugh did not quite fit :panic:

After a bit of manipulation i got it on there only to find it would not start, just turn over.

The plugs were different colours and you have just given me the reason why.:y:

I thought it was just a duffer but obviously the wrong colour/type for my car.

diff engines, timing etc, surely different types... apparently theres some sort of colour coding scheme :S
