Yesterday, I was reversing up to my Dads Jeep on the drive. I was doing about 0.0025mph!! I forgot the spare wheel carrier sticks out further...Doh!!!! Anyways it dinted the rear citroen badge in, I could have cryed :xmas_cry:
Couldn't believe I did it! I lifted the boot and popped the dint out, it doesn't look too bad, but everytime I look at the car I see it:n:
Theres also a small crack in the paint....Arse!
I'm going to have to get it sorted after crimbo, so do you guys think I should get the rear badges removed and smoothed at the same time?? Does anyone have pics and wot are peoples opinions of just the rear badges removed? I did a search and it seems £200-£350 is about the price? Cheers for any advice!

Ouch You should be able to get a proper good job done for between £130 and £180 to have the badges removed, smoothed over holes and had boot resprayed.

Yeah, exactly what I thought. The boots going to need a respray so might as well get it done at the same time.

Yeah I really like smooth boots, but recently I've been a bit unsure. I'm really unsure where I'd relocate the number plate which has put me off a bit. Does anybody have pics of a Gold Sax with smooth or de-badged rear, failing that any smooth or de-badged rears??
Cheers!

i went back to my car just over a year ago to find a lovely big dent just above the saxo badge. looked like somebody with a spare tyre on the back had gone into it.
i thought it would make sense to get the boot smoothed out instead of just repairing the dent as it wasn't going to cost much more, and i'd wanted it doing.

That boot looks really good mate! Suits the car a treat. Do you get any hassle from the police with the number plate?

To debadge the car usually costs between 100-150 for a good job, having it fully smoothed will cost about 200.

touch wood i've had no problems from the police as of yet. you do need a light on the plate as mentioned, but i don't. i put a temporary one on for the MOT and then took it back off afterwards.
its not that i'm trying to be a rebel by not having a light, its simply the fact that i haven't found a light that i want to put there. i don't want a great big ugly thing to spoil the back end.
