was driving along today (bumpy road) and a noise was coming from the suspension so stoped to have a check and got my brother to turn car from lock to lock and all of a sudden the car cut out, so tried to start it and dash lights kept on flickering indicating something loose in the igntion and also the key would not turn away from the run position but would turn the start, so i took the cawl of and joined the nessecrery wires to make the ignition on and bumped the car and set of home to check the promlem

after some mild feterling the key come free, i joined the wires again and bridged the starter motor and cranked the car over but it wouldnt start, i looked at the dash and the immoilizer light was flashing on and off and the car wont start,
as far as i can tell everything is connected.

does any one have any ideas.

this sounds like what happened to me2 days before i sold my first saxo

the key was very stiff and wouldnt disengage the starter automatically, i had to pull the key back myself

had to have a new ignition unit from citroen

dont think its gonna be too difficult since the immobiliser is probably a wire in the barrel.
