Power steering fuse, which number ?:(

p/s not working, wanna check the fuse but havent got a handbook to see which number it is

its the 1.1i saxo sx, 1999

if it isnt fuse, ill give the pump a little tap

then bite the bullet i guess :|

more than likely the relay before the fuse and even more than likely the pump before the relay, nearly everyone has had this problem....

I'm not sure what fuse deals with the power steering but I assume you have checked your fluids?

remember that theres a common fault with that relay thing under the steering column. Are ur blower and rear screen de0mister working?

blower + rear window is fine

ive not check the relay, or the fuse yet whats them then?

ive also hit the pump lololol

its a nightmare without power steering lol

That exact fault has hit me today.

What's the score with this then? New relay?

My powersteering never went in the first place, just felt odd, think it needed tracking + was some play in suspension (still needs both these sorting)

Good luck with the problem, do a search its a common fault

take the fuses out one by one ! and change the one thats fucked

i think that the power steering is a 10 amp fuse

check the fuses first before buying a new relay or pump,

or check the fluid level in the fluid bottle
