Removing rear badges

I know this must sound werid, I want to remove my rear Cit and Saxo badges off my car, but I am unsure how to. I see under the boot lid there are little plastic black bits that I think hold the badges on? How would I get them off and back on without damaging them? Can I use a flat blade screwdriver on the outside or something to pull them off?
