Hey people, I'm new here so hi!

Was wondering if someone could please tell me how to remove the standard gear knob on my Saxo.

Thanks.

I've tried that mate but it seems to be attached to the gator and I'm worried that if I pull it's going to pull the gator off with it.

Thinking about taking a hacksaw to it instead...

They usually just pull off with a mighty tug. If you still cant get it off, then a hacksaw is always an option. :)

I'm trying to avoid that option but it's not looking too good

u need to cut it off and if ur car is an early 1.1 like mine, then the gaiter and knob are 1 part, so u need to replace both. As said, u need to hacksaw it off

Welcome mate,

Yeh my gearknob came off with an almighty tug in 4th but watch your head when your doing it, if not then sawing it is an option ...
