One of my packages today was for a lovely old dear - it was a new printer. There was ignorant me thinking it must have been for her son or something, then she said "would you like a cup of tea?" I replied no as I don't drink tea, she then started to ask me about the printer, and "what entries will i have to change in reg-edit? Is it USB2 compatible? Can I plug my XD card into it? Does it support pict bridge?"

I was gobsmacked!!!

She must have been 85, she is a fine example to the elderly - she does everything online, shopping, banking etc!

Today's lesson: Never presume that the elderly know nothing about computers! She knew far more than me, and how the hell do you edit regedit entries LOL

Might need to put the video on ya phone to play it. This old dude is in his 90's surely, he comes my gym in his 1960's tracksuit and funny hat, and works out like he is 25 years old. absolute legend.

My gran is a "techno-gran" too....she's always sending emails (even with attachments lol) buying online, and publicly texting.

I think the delivery people must've been a bit suspicious when we sent one of our xmas packages to my gran's house...it was a homebrew kit!!

She cant have been that clued up if she doesn't know what it's compatible with but bought it anyway.
And you dont have to edit the registry, unless your a complete master guru and do it all manually.
