Will They Fit? What about sound proofing?

I've just bought these 2 15" sony xplod subs and was wondering whether or not they will fit in the back of my saxo or whether i will have to get a custom box done so that they will fit.

Also, should (providing they fit) i just put these straight in the boot or would i be better off dynamatting the floor of the boot or do you think it wont make much difference?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

dynamatting is worth it.

Easiest way would be to measure the boxes then measure the room in the boot

ok so trying to stuff a large and heavy box into the car that might not fit is the best way, potentially dropping it on the bumper or cracking the windscreen when the boot is slammed shut and parcel shelf is sitting proud, yes yours is the best way and easiest way i stand corrected.

LMAO at scott, think you should of measured first before buying mate but im sure they will lye flat so the speaker is facing up

Got them and they only just fit. will have to move 6x9 s if i want to keep them in parcel shelf because the bottom of the 6 x 9s rest on the subs when the boot is down.

had to screw the amp to the side of one of the sub boxes. wasnt even enough space to screw it to the back lol
