vtr ovrheating wit new rad,fan switch,thermo.help

high my r reg vtr has been gettinh bit hot last coupe of weeks id say it goes to 3/4 then fan comes on so put new rad.fan switch and themostat in rad woz fucked but now it runs even hotter there no air locks bleed it loads of times.weird thing is that it gets close to white line near the red sqaure when doing 60mph plus or when loading car up alot say 5th gear 40mph it goes really high then cools down to the 3/4 mark when stood in traffic dont make sence.cars surpose to cool down when going along motor way but it goes up need help bad.had head gasket test done it passed no probs could it be fault temp sender making the gauge read high.please help

there are several ways you can make sure if you have a air block or somthing.

i know you say you have done it loads times but you could possibly still have air in the system or a hose is not on propa leting air in after.

start ur car and open the valve down by the green temp sensor. if you hear a air sound you still have air in system. if water comes out stright away you have no problems. You can pick up a new temp sensor for 10quid! try this for the sake of 10quid
