hi, i need to change my indicator stalk , do i need to take my steering wheel off to get the stalk out?

yep mate wheel off job
disconnect battery for at least 10 mins before you start anything
then take the covers that go around the stalks should be two torx screws holding them in place, then unscrew two screws holding the airbag in place, take airbag off disconnect plug, undo the bolt holding the wheel in place, you should be left with easy access to stalks now, theres two small screws holding the stalk in place then all you have to do is pull it out and disconnect any plugs/wires

need to do mine aswell, my left indicator sticks and sometimes dont come on due to worn indicator stalk

yeah mine failed its mot due to it last week, ive bought a new one off jacko18

i think i'll use my indicaters less then. dont want to wear em out.
