well really need to get rid of the saxo now as going to look at a subrau wrx :panic: :P :P (local garage). have already dropped the price, its a very genuine car i dont know why it hasnt gone yet, am i asking too much??? (link in sig). I will service it in the next couple of days, hopefully that will help the sale.
What exactly do they do for a £100 service? (local garage not citroen)
P-s this isnt a plug for the link as its been in my sig for a while now.

How long is MOT? Seems fair price if you ask me! TO get a quick sale maybe drop the price and keep the CD player/changer.

i think the mot is 9 months id have to check. Im going to leave the cd player and that in cant be bothered messing taking it all out, i didnt add this onto the cost anyway as it came with the car of my bro. can you put a car in for mot even though it has some left, just to top it up to 12 months? if so is it normal price? it flew through the last mot with no problems so should fly back through as i hardly use the car

IIRC you can put it thru a month early so it can have 13 months MOT, but i dont think more than that.
If i was you i would save your cash just wait for the right buyer, ebay is always a good place to flog a car! I sold my motorbike for more than i bought it for within a day on there.

Personally mate, I'd put it up at about £1,200 to get a quick sale. I know you probably think I am taking the piss, but I have seen a (T) Reg Saxo Westcoast go for £1,200 last week with 70k on the clock. Your car does look in very good condition for age and mileage though.
As for service, £100 would probably get you oil, air and fuel filter change. New oil and spark plugs.

You might be right. What year is your car? even if its a 97 like mine, 62k and 80k is ALOT differernt. Also mine is looked after and unmodded, not saying yours isnt looked after but fact of the matter is a modded car can turn away buyers, thats why they always say you wont get your money back on mods, might even devalue the car... hence why alot of people "unmod" it before selling, "put it back to standard" etc

its only lowered... which does appeal to the younger people, probably the only people looking to buy a saxo, saves them a few hundred doin it themselves.
its a late 99'

For £100 you would prob get a oil and filter change, check brake pads all round, maybe spark plugs, and a scan over the car to make sure everything is in tick tock shape :P

Yeah you can but you still usually get charged for full price as your paying for labour and test running costs not 12months MOT. I did mine like this to put the MOT at a decent date, before it was when I was going to be at Uni, which was not the time for the MOT really. Done it over a month before.
