Quick question

when smoking the headlights, do you have to use sandpaper to remove all the chrome or just leave a rough finish for bonding? Cheers, any quick answers would be quality as im half way through the job now.

It is purely to roughen up the surface to allow the primer to stick...

Sand down all chrome you are going to spray with ROUGH sand paper or emry cloth. I personally prefer emry cloth.


Once it has a rough finish and is not shiny it is time to get sprayed.

Cheers lads. Yea im using that thread and mattwestys one on SSC but the second line confused me there, said it cantr be shiny which is why i was getting rid of all the chrome. Cheers again lads
