the week before the week i sell my car, what a load of bullshit. Cut the story short my older clutch was like just 6 thousand miles old. it got replaced becuase it used to do like a squeaky sound outside and a lot of rumbling/tiking sound coming from clutch when clutch not engaged.

Took to my mechanic he was like yer np put a new clutch in. I got the car few days later it now squeaks again and the tickin sound is still there.

Took it down citroen they said it was something about the gear shaft ?? does anyone know about this problem. Its horrid as im about to sell the car and suddenly it makes this gay ticking sound and squeaks really loud outside.

This was after i payed my mechanic 200£ to fix my clutch ... and it had recently been done like year ago, whole new clutch kit.
And i did try take care of my clutch, it just started the noise back up slowlly, eventually gettin louder.

can someone please help me im gettin fed up :drink:

thank you guys

most citroens make this sounds.... i hav 3 saxos, a vtr, vts and a 1.4 and believe me when you release the clutch in neutral, it makes this noise and when you press it down...it goes away, this is called the clutch release bearing which makes the noise when worn, it should with a new clutch......

It would make no sense that the garage did not replace the thrust brg as it comes in the clutch kit.
(Clutch plate ,release brg, and friction plate.)
You have to remove the clutch to change the release bearing anyway, so if he had changed the clutch he should have been done as standard procedure.
Id ask to see the old parts again, by law all garages should keep old and removed parts for 7 days.
