reeto, I got standard shitroen speakers atm, thinking of shovin some 6x9's in the parcel shelf, Q1. How exactly do I get the door card off? just peel the rubber seal from around the door/rear window then pop the card off?

Q2. Will the existing wires going to mah rear speakers stretch to the parcel shelf? or will it be a shitroen bodge budget jobby and i'll have to extend them? smileys/smiley5.gif

nope.. it wont quite reach.. but 6x9s should have some wire included with them.. u just need a http://www.wiresncode.com/projects/wireless/dlink/terminal-block.jpg to join them smileys/smiley17.gif

Now then now then

This was the first mod i did and it's a great laugh trying to get that rear card out, there are these little white luggs that involve lifting the card and pulling. You also need to take off teh door rubber by the seatbelt to help even further.
The wires from the speakers are tiny and do an ok job but i took the carpet (slightly) up down the side of the seats and ran brand new thicker wire (better sound ish) to a neuro socket in the back pannel by the light in your boot, so that i could take the parcel shelf out for moving wardrobes and shit. smileys/smiley2.gif

You could alternatively run the wires down the centre of the car which is away from any power looms that run down the side of your car (provide interference when you don't have it up full blast-LIKE WHEN????). But that involves lifting the carpet or feeding the wires under the carpet, that's fun, Been there done that!

The neuro clip, i got from sextons, it's basically a screw in plug that you run the wires to and the female adaptor sits in housing that the parcel shelf rests in, and the male adaptor is fixed to your wires. That way if you wanna take out the shelf you can.

There you go mate hope that helps.

You getting a stealth shelf? No sagging even after two years on mine. They rock . And which 6x9s?

Someone on here has their 6x9s in the rear seat panel, but i forget who (So if you read this mike or mark, stick your pic on here for the lad)
