hi ppl, i have ordered something from ebay from carworx and they have been the biggest pain in the arse. i have bought this item a month ago and havent received anything but when i phone them they are absolute time wasters. they say they will phone back and they havent and it has gone beyond a joke. i thought that they are a decent company and was even thinking of taking my car there, im glad i didnt.
has anyone else had a problem with them?
I suggest people to be aware of them as they are not good people to deal with!!!!

(no comment on my previous experiences)
Email them... Btw, remember that it's now the Xmas/New Year period so anything that is being sent out will take a little longer than normal. I'm sure there's a valid reason why you haven't received a particular item(s).

They are an utter bunch of cowboys
I've seen several of their turbo conversions - awful
And I've seen what they did to Dave Newmans 106 gti turbo
Wouldn't touch em with a barge pole

ask mark how good their customer service is, a month to fix a faulty lambda sensor :err: I've also heard about the time it takes them to phone people back etc. Never heard a bad thing about the workmanship* only the customer service.
edit-* until now two posts up lol

mallboy... If all that fails, take further action but of which I wouldn't like to discuss on a public forum.

i mite just tell them because they piss me off that much. i too was gonna take my car down there but i advise ppl to go elsewhere. for example: i have phoned probably 10 times and today i even phoned - they were supposed to phone back but still no reply. i will love to personally go down there and tell em how i feel!!! lol

Mallboy I tried to phone this afternoon but you were engaged. I apologise for not being able to get in contact with you but we are very short staffed at the minute.
I have emailed you through paypal several times. We sent you the MF2 via royal mail recorded delivery, (I have already given paypal the tracking number). I have tried contacting them today, they cannot seem to find the package anywhere even though it has been reported lost since the 15th of December.
I will despatch another MF2 to you on Monday via a courier, I will email you the tracking number & telephone number of the courier so that you can get in contact with them if you wish & it will be with you on tuesday.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused, unfortunately Royal mail have not been very helpful in finding your package & I will be claiming compensation from them for the MF2.

i have never had any problems with carworx, and i would personally recommend them to anyone who wanted anything done to their car.
i have one of their exhausts, and i am pleased with their build quality.
they have helped me countless times, whether its for advice, or helping me with my vts conversion, and setting up of cams/KMS.
i usually live on ssc, but thought i would voice my opinion on here.
it is xmas time remember, and most businesses dont reopen until the new year.
hope you get it sorted.

oi biatch... wheres my text message??
and regarding my car, im letting carworx have time to get things to how they should be... would rather they took there time (albeit 4 weeks now) to 100% sort my emissions problem out, than it to be given back to me only 95% sorted..

You all know how many times my old turbo was in at Carworx, both at their old site and at the new one. Come to think of it, the current owner even has it back there now.. The build quality of everything they did on mine, from sorting orinal boost prob, excellent quality pipework, full exhaust system,to setting up, to boost gauge fitting, Helix clutch and 106gti gearbox and even suspension was excellent.. Advice was even given to me over the phone on a Sunday night!!
Never had any probs with them or their work..
and whenever I needed them they were either straight out to me, or I was able to get it down to them next day..
Will always text me with updates of my cars progress and even used to text with special offers they had at the time! Their service is second to none.
Top guys, (and girls!) :y:
