Ok,
Just fitted the full magnex single box system from the vtr onto the vts. also fitted a vts de-cat pipe too. Fitted the lambda sensor into the de-cat.
Car sound amazing and can feel a difference.
This was all done 3 days ago.

Went to pick up my lass from work tonight, coming home i overtook a bus (giving it some) then 2 mins later the management light came on, i was just cruising at 50mph. The car seems to be running fine with no missfires etc.

Any ideas?

Could this be linked with the exhaust??

Cheers

if you plugged the second sensor back in with no cat, it is probably flagging to tell you the cat is deed, but since its not there....:P

Don't worry about it mate ive fitted a manifold, de-cat and peco cat-back system, there are holes for both lamba sensors so plugged them in and my engine management light still comes on, had it plugged in to diagnostics, it registered the fault with the cat not bein there, had it cancelled but then the management light still comes on, mines on permanently, and the car still runs alrite.

Ok,
Fitted the lambda sensor into the de-cat.

The lambda sensor goes into the cat... how can it go into the de-cat!?!

My engine management light used to come on but that was because the sensor was dangling in mid air. I then put a lambda sleeve on it, tucked it up to the underside of the car, had the lights re-set and it never came on since.

Strange... the people who did that should have known the light would come on sooner or later because you can't connect it straight into the de-cat pipe.

If a car has no cat, it will trigger the engine management light. So why not just put a sleeve on the sensor and then tuck it up to the underside of the car. The light might then go off. If not, have Citroen re-set them and you should be ok. That's what I did with mine mate.

right boz how many sensors does it have 2 or 1

i think you will need to plug the hole in the cat and get a lamba sleeve

The light came on... I then had the sleeve fitted... I went to Citroen and had the lights re-set... They never came back on.

My engine light is also on, i also have a decat pipe, it came on about 2 weeks after i got it fitted, the lambda sensor is plugged in to the pipe, should it still be on?, and if i go to citroen to reset the ECU wouldn't they not touch it due to it not having a CAT? Thanks.
