Im looking for a bit of advice!

Since i've had the car its been stalling alot. Had it serviced new oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, sorted it for under a month. Invested in a green stuff air filter and put carb cleaner in the fuel. Now back to stalling on a regular basis. What can i do. Its doing my head in.

As well as that sometimes when i go to boot it, it sort of missfires and the revs get stuck for a while then kick in. frustrating to say the least.

Also my gear box is on its way out, thinking what can be done either to improve the proformance with a different kind? Any ideas?

vts has hydralic tappets so it wont be that and it has a coilpack not ht leads

you could try changing the coil pack but also check all the wiring to the inlet manifold i had a loose plug that went to my inlet manifold once and it cause it to missfire and the last time i had problems like that it was a fucked head gasket.does it run fine when you start it up then it missfires under load once its warmed up?

It starts fine, is has missfired when cold and when the engine is hot. Like last night driving from dover to maidstone onto baseldon racing almost all the way, and it done it about 3 times. Its not regular it sometimes never.

Could be a dodgy sensor or more than likely the coil pack.
