Completely sick of the VTS

Well folks, the time has come when i thought i would never find myself saying these words.. I am sick of my saxo. In the past 2 weeks it has had 2 gearboxes and 2 clutches, and the car was not thrashed when the new box n clutch were put in. its holding up fine now like but im still sick of it. It only has 30k on it. Time to move Jap me thinks.

Were the gearboxes actually new, its not the car's fault that they weren't fitted properley or something.

Did you release the handbrake whilst driving? I find that mega hard to believe that two clutches just got mullered. Obviously I'm not doubting you but someone must have messed up fitting it or something?

Thought you were selling it ages ago? Why have you needed two clutches and gear boxes in two weeks? The gear boxes are pretty strong so you would have to of been driving it hard?

Well, my original clutch went at 29k, so i took it to garage and they said the gearbox was shot as well. so got a gearbox of a used saxo vts(which i reckon is faulty) and a brand new clutch, so when the box blew after a week it sheared part of the clutch as well, and the gearbox oil went all over it and fecked it right up. The cogs were shattered and i didnt drive it hard cos i was wearing it in. so the clutch has been replaced again and also i have another used vts box in which feels a lot better. hopefully it will be fine now, but like i said, im a bit sick now like. and ad, i did realease the handbrake whilst driving lol.

Im sorry but the clutch MAY have gone at 29k if you're really unlucky - but theres no way the gearbox would have been fucked

I'd put money on the garage telling you utter shit to try and get more pennies out of you
And then I guess the replacement one was already knackered from a scrap yard

My gearbox went on my quiky at 108k
And I thrashed the knackers off my car from 26k when I bought it - always red lined everywhere. Oh yeah and for 6 months ran it with auto transmission fluid in the box because thats all I had in the garage AND it had a quickshift on it - so it was ABUSED
