F*ck sake.
That door lock is right mess. I can't believe someone did that in a shopping centre carpark.
I'm so glad mine is getting alarmed after xmas, so I might have some security at least.

Bah! Sorry to hear that Tommy, id feel gutted if anyone broke into my car :(
Most insurance companies have a maximum payout for the audio itself (on my policy i think it is £500), but obviously they will also payout money for the locks to be replaced and the door panel repair work...
My brother had his car broken into a year or two ago, and his insurance premium has been affected quite a lot as it is a claim. So it might be worth you considering repairing it yourself? it depends how much your audio was worth.
Don't forget to report it to the police, they won't do anything about it but you will need a reference number in order to make a claim. I can't believe noone heard it!
Hope you get it sorted mate

on my policy with Quinn you have up to a certain amount of audio equipment in the car without it being declared. If you haven't declared it then they will only pay up to that limit, you'll have to talk to them though.

Think Quin Direct pay out up to £500 for audio. Best bet is to check your paperwork. Don't see why anybody didn't do anything with alarm going off. Is there CCTV in or around the place.

wouldnt bother claiming if iw ere you, lose your no claims bonus, guessing best idea would be to delock it, costs bout 300 at a body shop if you have the holes welded up not fillered, and do without the install for now.

delocking sounds good but.....
u can get into a saxo just by flicking the door pin up in about 5 secs....

the people who buy the nicked stuff are just as guilty, without customers no point in nicking.
