In the interests of helping the RMOs organise regional meets would it be possible to get everyone to select a region to sign up to so that it makes it much easier to PM local people about upcoming meets etc?

Its increasingly difficult to gain interest and its hard scouring the forum for new members that are local who may not be aware of the regional groups?

Also can we have the option to PM all signed up members at once instead of having to type out the names in the box of everyone?

:)

Sending about 40 PMs out is a long thing already. Never mind if i had to do it for every guy that is in yorkshire. What about those guys that sign up just for th guides etc etc.Could end up trying to send 150+ members each time. 10k+ members into groups would be a pain to get the PMs out.....Unless, we can start sending them to the group like a DList insted of each user name. ;););)

Yep droplist would be the way to go for sure, we can view the list of people signed up to the region so it would be handy to just tick a box next to the name and then click 'send pm' or something along those lines.

It is a nightmare, how longs it just took you Jay to send those?

it takes a good hour to draft something then to send it all out. Maybe more i recken.

im sure it would be easy enough to create a global set of groups that every who joins a region is automatically added. Then u just send 1 pm to everyone in that region. But could lead to lots of spammin

It shouldn't lead to lot's of spamming as RMOs would only be sending PMs out regarding the Saxperinece meets.

It would be good if everyone selected a group as they joined the site. This way it would broadcast information to more people about the meets, and get more involvement.
