Walking along the High Street to get some Fake KFC chicken.... we walked past a group of people and one of the girls in the group said "Happy new year", so I replied the same... then one of the lads walked forward and said "You starting on me?", then punched me in the face.... at the same time another one of them had punched my mate in the face too... he got me on to a shop doorway and then 8 other lads came over and helped him beat me. I tried to throw a few punches back, but I was over powered by the number of them..... the girlf was screaming for help and then she tried to get inbetween us and ended up getting her hand hit, so she's got a sling on at the moment.

No idea who they were.... 2 of them got arrested though, cause whilst the police were taking down our details they there was a call over the radio saying that they same group were beating some more people at the other end of the High Street... so the MeatWagon sped off down there and managed to get 2 of them... the main 2.

When we got to A&E there were loads of people down there that had been beaten up throughout the night..... I think we're having a house party next year as this is the 3rd New Year I've been beaten up... I hate this country!!

The swelling has gone down a little bit, but my eye is still half shut and very black now that the bruising has started to come out properly. The lumps on the back of my head are still a bit tender and I've formed a bit of a limp today as well.... new aches and pains seem to be creeping up al the time.

Mate made a claim when he was beaten up in Newcastle on a night out. He was kicked in the head and was partially blinded in one eye and had to have loads of operations over past 3 years.

Took the cunt to court and he was ordered to pay my mate between £1000 compensation due to loss of earnings....Bloke claimed to have no job and being on benefits. He is still paying off my mate something stupid like 10 quid a month.
