i bought this the other week for my wife . its a 1998 R reg vtr . its been lowered ( bit too much if you ask me judging by the ride comfort ) and has induction kit and dtm mirrors . she wanted something small but sporty still and hopefully this will make her happy now .
its got 8 months MOT and the following few problems . problem with closing drivers door which i am hopefully gonna get fixed tomorrow, passenger seat is loose which is an easy fix i think and the heater blowers aren't working which i have no idea why ( any suggestions please let me know ) .
the lad i bought it off had got a new car for xmas and i bought it off him on xmas eve and he needed to get rid of it quickly cause he never had the room at the house blah blah blah . anyway suffice to say i thought £500 was a bargain
i am so glad though that within a few days she will happily be driving around in this and therefore she will leave my car alone which i have always thought was too big for her and a too powerful . besides she has always said she found the beemer too flash and was sick of me moaning about her kerbing my alloys all the time ( come on guys back me up here , if you had just put 19's on your car and your missus kerbed em wouldn't you moan a little )
anyway i have put a few pics on of both our cars for you all to see and i will tell my wife i have joined the forum here incase she wants to chat with all you fellow saxo owners .
i may also be putting the suspension back to normal as its too low really especially seeing as it is gonna have a baby seat in the back with a 2 yr old in . so i would appreciate any suggestions on how much this might cost and i may also have a set of lowering springs available to swop for some standard springs . cheers everyone for looking and no doubt being bored with all my drivvle .
