Had a little bump last night....

Wet road with mud and gravel on the surface + big tree. The airbag didnt go off and the engine didnt cut out which I thought was a bit strange.
Before anyone says anything, I wasn't speeding. The important thing is that I'm ok, bar whiplash and general aches and pains and that I didn't anyone else.
On the lookout for another saxo now, won't have much to spend though because I'm fully comp but I doubt they will give me much and will have to pay excess.

Do you think you should be looking for somthing with more power when you crash your car trying tio take a turning to fast? that to me says inexperienced.
Also good luck with insurance on a vts after claiming

im 21 mate, it was a mixture of conditions and me miscalculating the turning (I wasnt speeding)
just because a car has more power doesnt mean i have to use it.
Im aware of the increase insurance wise, something I'll have to live with.
my first crash in 30k miles of driving... i dont need a lecture.

He said he wasnt racing.
And thats another kick in the balls mate. All the more reason to nab a few parts before the engineer takes it away. Just a few things like the alloys and spoiler wont be noticed as they were optional extras/ you have fitted them and you could make a few quid off them. Good luck with it :y:

cheers everyone... just gotta decide if i should upgrade to a vts now!
roughly £500 extra to run a year over 3 years (insurance, tax, fuel, parts etc)
is it worth paying for the extra power and spec?
