Use the faq section, it has all this kind of info in there. Also use the search function.

Yes... it has been covered many times before.

To put up photo's in a post, they need to be hosted on a photo-sharing website. There are many different sites e.g. Fotki, Imageshack, Photobucket, etc... Please note that Fotki does not allow remote linking from FREE Fotki accounts. The other two however do. Below are some basic steps in getting your pics from your computer into a post.

1. Go to www.photobucket.com

2. Create an account by clicking the "Joining Now" link.

3. Complete the necessary fields and then you will have your own Photobucket storage account.

4. To upload a pic, click the "Browse" button and then locate your photo.

5. Once you have located your photo, click the "Upload" button (The speed of the upload is dependant on the size of the file you're uploading and the speed of your internet connection. Only press the Upload button once).

6. Once your photo has been uploaded, it will appear below with three different fields under it (Url, Tag and Img). Because Photobucket provides these 'tags', there's very little you need to do in transferring a pic from your account to a post.

7. The majority of forums welcome the "Img" tags when inserting photo's within a post. Therefore, click in the "Img" field below your desired photo. This will then highlight that box. Right click and select "Copy".

8. Once you have done that, navigate to the thread you wish to use that photo, right click and select "Paste". That link will now appear in a forum message with the correct tags.

Please note: The above is valid for Photobucket accounts. Similar details are required on other photo sharing websites. If your photo's are too large, Photobucket will re-size them automatically.
