Not sure if this is good advice or not but it seemed to work for everyone its happened to.

As soon as you move off think to yourself 'Ive failed' that way you've got nothing to lose, you should be more relaxed as you already think you have failed then see what happens.

Like I said, about half dozen people said they made a silly mistake and fort they had faild'd which made them relax as there was nothin else to do and they all ended up passin.

and i think that works mate! on my test i fort i didnt leave enough room for a bike when overtaking, and fort i failed, all the way thu the test afterwards i just drove normaly lol! i passed so it worked :D i think most of the time instructors are just lookin for confidence while on the road.

i agree with this i diddnt hear the examiner tell me to turn and stoped in front of a junction
thought i had failed and just tried to finish the test and i ended up passing
