A wheel bearing perhaps?
Can you be more specific? Does it happen all the time? Turning corners? Going over bumps? Under acceleration? Dragging a metal dinner tray?

When i changed my wheels to vtr ones this also happened to mine.

thanks for advice my service light as just come on so im gonna get a full service on it and they can see if there is anything up

check that the wheels studs arent too long and are catching anything at the back of the hub as the studs would sit in farther with vtr rims than with your other rims before i think..

could be the brakes, mine did this on my old car when my pads went...which then bolloxed up my discs

i will take it to the garage for a full service they should find any problems i hope
