Its not really set out or anything, i just eat... like..
Morning: museli+bannan or cornflakes or something
Gym > protien shake
A little after gym around 11am Ish i will have something like
scambie eggs (5) with baked beans ,on toast. or some other form
of eggs. sometimes i just boil up 6/8 eggs. I see this as my proper breakfast even though i had some already
as i really struggle to eat at half 8am
then for lunch will normaly be tuna sarnie (1 tin tuna sometimes 2) - or a banana+jam+peaunut butter sarnie, or some other type of sarnie
A little later sometimes i will eat some more, like tin of sardines or banna sarnie or something.
then dinner around 6pm Ish:
normaly some steamed chick breast with veg and rice, or pasta with chick breast n some sauce... or fish and potatos n veg.. or steak and potatos n veg, that sort of thing.
Thats about it really, i drink a fair bit of water but its a pain in the arse to keep drinking water.my plans are to add more variety of fruit etc, and diff stuff

Are you Cutting Or Bulking?
Leo
9th January 2007, 17:21
Wouldn't be cuttin on that diet! To be honest i HATE the bulk/cut crap since i started. I have seen so many lads "bulk" up then cut and not look that great. I prefer to eat a fair bit and kill it in the gym. This way i gradually get bigger while staying lean, its worked great for me. Since i started BB i was told "YOU EITHER BULK OR CUT! SIMPLE!" its bollocks in my opinion, i guess if any im more "bulking", gradually.
Yes clone it gets burned off easy in gym i surpose as im not fat.. i dont even do any cardio, well i should be.. i do bits, nothing major.

I eat healthy, and lift heavy, i was going to the gym 3-4 times a week but wasn't getting much bigger, i was just getting more toned, decicded to lay my hands on some steroids, which i dont abuse, in the last 3 months i have gained about 3 stone and i think i look pretty good now, i don't suffer from 'roid rage' though, dunno why, but i can now happily benchpress 145kgs, lovely ta,

been keeping an eye on it, it's still the same, i dont plan to try and get any bigger really, just stay in shape and stay about the size i am, been cutting the intake of steroids down, so i can stop taking them altogether, i feel a lot happier now being the size i am, i know a few guys at my local gym who abuse the steroids they take and although they are absoloutley massive, it's just too much if you ask me.

i was worried at first, as i had never even thought to try them, apparently some people suffer hugely with the withdrawell symptoms of not taking them, i started on 5 tablets a day and i'm now down to just 2 tablets a day, and no all your size and strength doesn't go, as long as you keep training on a regular basis, i have a friend who used to abuse the amount of steroids he took, we were meant to take 5 tablets a day, he would take about 25-30 and as a result, he suffered a heart attack at the age of 18. not good. i find as long as you are responsible with them, you will be ok. :y:

get some pics up, 145kg on the bensh is very impressive but i would never condone steriods, i have been working out for 3 years and i went from 8stone to 13 stone and can bench 120kg @ 6 reps, i eat what i want so not on a specific diet and i dont take any suppliments as i dont beleive in them i just have good old water

you got results from using only orals?
they're really only meant to kick-start a cycle.
what were they?

ah see, i can only bench 145kgs @ 4 reps, but i usually stick between 125kgs and 135kgs to try and avoid injury, only done 145kgs a while back as i was showing off to a couple of tarts in my local gym.
i dont bother with supplements either, waste of money if you ask me, water all the way!

He is amazing, when is he competing next anyway? pm me details.
As for the steroid thing, I want to ask this in all seriosness not being a wanker sort of thing... but you know when say you bench 145 and you are all buzzing etc, dont you know/feel its not real? because if you didn't have the juice you wouldnt have been able too? like with me, my back or ass never comes of the bench but IF it did, i wouldnt class it as a lift.. simply because it was made easyer with the powerlifter technique.

thats a fair comment and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and clearly you have yours, i did initially feel the first time i lifted over 100kgs i knew it wasn't me lifting, i had a very strange feeling that i could'nt explain,i could see i was lifting the weights but i couldn't wrap my head around the concept of how?, i stuck to a certain weight after that to avoid injury, and until i had built myself up more before trying anything like it again,i also agree that if my back or ass comes off the bench then no i don't class it as a lift. :y: either,

Not alot of people know this but I won the EFBB Heavyweight North West show at Parr Hall in Warrington in 1994. Think I've forgotten more than I know now. At my heaviest whilst bulking up I weighed 23 stone and competed at around 15ish stone.
I trained with Dave Smith(WWF British Bulldog R.I.P) in O'Malleys in Warrington for 12 months before he left and went to the states and also used to train with Mick Ahearne, Warrior from Gladiators on a regular a basis afterwards in Widnes and Runcorn
Brief example of my bulking up diet:
dozen scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast
whey protein shake as a snack - mid morning
tuna and rice for dinner
whey protein snack- afternoon
Train
Whey Protein straight after
steamed fish or chicken and rice or jacket potatoes for evening meal
1 litre of gino gienelli tutti frutti ice cream for supper
I was that serious about my training I actually left home and moved out after somebody ate my ice-cream :wall:
Now, I do a bit of boxing, squash and badminton and find it very hard to get below 18 stone - early mid life crisis:panic:

Give me a few days, there packed away in the loft somewhere. My cousin is Fran Rainford, he won the NABBA Mr Britain in Blackpool 1990 I think it was. Trained with a few big lads, Ian Harrison was awsome to train with and fcukin huge. Really lost touch with it all now, its been many years since I trained seriously. Some of the things that were going on were totally unreal :n:

remeber when cut calories you increase the amount of "fat storing enzymes" so when you stop "cutting" and eating properly you will need to workout hard to stop the calories being stored as fat!!

I used to workout a lot. Been slack lately as i've had ill health for a while now. For great training guides and all you need to find the best 'cutting diets' just search at bodybuilding.com. It's a great site. I'm a smaller guy in height [5"8] so i got a lot of ideas from Anthony Ellis

Absolute monster, i read an article about him saying that he killed his biceps so much in a workout that he couldnt even lift his arms to have a drink of water, i guess thats proof right there. Inspirational
