Air bag light on after fitting 106gti leather?

Just got myself some gti half leather front and rear seats for my 2001 vts which had air bags in the front seats....

I had 106gti interior in my vtr, i just connected both the pre tensioners under the seats and they fitted very well...

BUT

This time in my 2001 bts there are 3plugs under each seat obv as there are more air bags, but none of the plugs seem to fit, anyone else have this problem?

ive got the airbag gti interior too mate, but also have a momo wheels so the airbag light was on anyway, they way i got round it is to tape over the airbag light with black insulation tape but do it from insid the dials :y:

Yeah didnt realy want to have to do that matey....

I havent got the air bag gti interior just the normal stuff!!

Theres 3 wires with plugs on each side under my front seats in my 2001 vts...

1st has an orange wire with brown plug
2nd has an orange wire with blue plug
3rd has green wire and green plug

have a bit of a fiddle around with the plugs under the seats sometimes works if you put WD40 on the plugs too, but disconnect battery first

if that dont work you can try the brown wire trick located under the steering coloum

Would it work if say i started with the drivers seat connected all three plugs together to make one, then connected that to the plug hanging from underneath the new seat?

i wouldnt like to try it tbh mate, i dont know what the other two plugs are for ??

The other two plugs are for the airbags which were in my vts front seats dude....

aw well i wouldnt know as i have a VTR lol well what can it do i mean if it doesnt work it will only blow a fuse i guess, give it a go mate
