dont cut the loom or you will void your warranty of your radio.end of

too be honest if you've got cut wires from an old stereo hanging round i'd play halfrauds or a garage like an extra £30 to fit it, Mattvtr's right dont cut the leads!!!
ALSO
if i'm right you have to wire it upto the handbrake otherwise it wont work, although there are ways round it, i think u can put it too an earth, check with someone whos got one...

the wiring to the handbrake can just be earthed so it can be played anytime :y:
if you can get a picture of what you have then i might be able to help you, i recently rewired my loom for the pioneer dvd unit

go and buy a standard iso block and then chop the loom on that so that no warranty is void, earth is the best way round it but if you get pulled make sure you turn it off as youll get done for it (you dont even have to earth it,there is a function to just turn the screen on.lmao).also you might find it very difficult to fit because there are so many cables and it is quite a deep unit,be prepared to take it back as i have had probably about 1 in 3 returned to my store
