whats that noise..???

i was driving to work today and i started to hear a noise as if i had a flat tyre. i stoped got out and checked but my tyres were fine.... as it was faint i decided not to worry n turned up my tunes... but the closer i got to work the louder the sound got.... but every time i went over a bump it stopped for afew seconds.... but it just sounds like i have a flat tyre.... i dont understand...??? anybody got any ideas...??? its really worrying me...???

if u have hub caps and have hit the kurb you may have dented the rim so it is letting air out as it spins prehaps?#
