Polished_Bliss_Detailing

This was todays detail, and the first of a few cars belonging to this family that we will be doing over the next couple of days. The family own a building construction company and therefore all the cars see daily trips to the quarry etc and therefor get pretty manky with mud etc (as did my leon :wall: just aswell i fitted mudflaps 2 days ago :D )
The owners were just after a good shine on the outside more than anything, plus an interior detail too. They werent fussed about paint correction or even polishing at all, so an easy day for me i guess :)
This was the main reason i never bothered taking any before pictures as i wasnt anticipating posting this particular detail up and didnt take a decent Digital camera, but seeings as the car turned out nicer than i thought in the end i took some shots with my mobile to share with you all anyways :)
Process:
Wash:
- Rinsed thoroughly with pressure washer (there was no hoselock style hose about for the gilmour, just an industrial sized pressure washer for the lorries etc that did the pre wash job well anyways!)
- Arches/lower half of car/door shuts etc soaked in Megs APC
- Washed with 2 bucket method and Meguiars Shampoo Plus
- Wheels washed with Shampoo Plus and MF mitt (no acids were touching these Kahns!)
- Rinsed
- Bottom half of car Clayed with Megs Mild Detailing Clay (owners werent fussed about this but i cant stand tar on cars, especially silver ones!).
- Dried with PB Waffle Weave Towel
Exterior
- Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger x 2
- Meguiars All Season Dressing on all trim
- Blackfire Fine Cut Metal Polish on exhaust tips
- NXT Glass Cleaner on windows
Wheels
- These 22" beauties were showing signs of tarnashing so i spent an hour and a half with the Blackfire fine cut metal polish and a German Applicator Pad shining up the outter rims, and they came up a treat :)
- Followed by Jeffs Werkstatt Prime Strong
- PB Wheel Sealant
- Blackfire Long Lasting Tyre Gel on the tyres
Arches werent dressed as it would have been wasted product seeings as the yard outside was at least 2 inches deep with mud/sand so wouldnt have taken long for them to get dirty again
No pics of Interior.

Apologies for quality of some of the pics but as stated above, i wasnt anticipating posting this detail at all, but i was pleasantly surprised with the difference the Jeffs made to the paintwork, there was definitaly a significant improvement in gloss :)
Thanks for looking
