ive been looking through all the posts on here, and im seeing a pattern. the questions are usually all the same kinda thing. and the advice? well. 90% of it is crap, and wrong. the other 10% is fine.
if anyone does want any help with diet, training etc, private me and i'll help all i can.
i have loads of bodybuilding recepies, and diet plans, as well as training routines.
I don't claim to know everything, but i know enough, and what i don't know i can find out from a few proffesionals i know

I just read this that you said in another thread:
oh yeah, forgot to add. ignore people that say they have loads of side effects. 99% of people dont have a clue about them. and not wanting to start a fight, but people on here shouldn't give advice about stuff they don't know about. its dangerous
So you have the nerve to say 90% of the advice here is crap!?! yet you are here pretty much condoning sterioids. Sort it out

part of the reason why advice like this shouldnt be kept private, people often think they are right and are not (im not suggesting that anyone is not right etc...)

Exactly, i mean why keep it private, whats to hide. I would never ever EVER take advice from somebody who has took steroids and i dont care how big the steroids got them either. I also wouldnt advice begginers to pm someone who condones steroids for advice, in my opinion.

if you read that steroid post properly. i was neither condoining or promiting steroids.
i said IF you do want to use them do your research, yes there are side effects, but most of them are due to people miss using them.
it is a personal choise whether you use them or not. alot of people use them too early.

Saying that to a naive person who wants to get big is as good as sticking steroids up his ass when hes not looking, in my opinion.
Anywho, show me some of the 90% advice thats been given her thats "crap" ??? not to start a fight, just curios.. as i thought id seen some very good advice here

you cant compete without steroids... plain and simple.
and people like competing.
even if they didnt take steroids they would still be twice the size of you.

a little yeah. as you said its because you dont like steroids so much. also but mr ninja wasnt condonning them as he said either and hes right they can be used quite safely, its the abussers that end up with side effects.
thats why everything should be posted not pmed so people can give there opinions on things

Well ,if some one is on here asking for advice on how to get big with weights then they obviously havent done any.The answers are always the same...EAT LIKE AN ANIMAL ..LIFT AWESOME WEIGHTS ..TAKE STEROIDS..now , eating shitloads of food will probably make them fat..they wont be able to lift big weights correctly .Start with light weights to learn how to lift properly. Then medium weights with high reps for muscle. The heavy weight that gets talked about on here is powerlifting.

Hmm cant say i have seen ANYONE say take steroids, seen a few people try to make steroids look good and they get slated. What you said there is about whats said here, lift light to get form sorted then start on the weight ladder. Yes eat lots, as in more than normal... but has to be the right food of course. like a guy said to me, bodybuilding isnt rocket science, its better to keep it simple. Eat well > sleep well > lift heavy (form permitting) easy

Why are you so negative and competitve? i just agreed with you. Roid rage?
mickh
27th January 2007, 17:23
Not being negative.Or competative. What i am saying is i believe you can get muscular without heavy weights .I dont even take medicine by the way ..so i doubt i would touch steroids.

I agree fully with you, but I think... and i might be wrong, that to get bigger than you are you need to up the weight each week or whatnot.. otherwise your muscles adapt to the weight you are doing. And if you are upping weight its inevitble that you will sooner or later be, lifting heavy weights.
:bored:

You have to make the muscle work harder thats true.In my opinion though its better to do that by doing more reps than usual. You wont lose form that way.
Leo
27th January 2007, 17:38
Thats true but (again, just what i have been told in the past) lighter weights and high reps = tone the muscle/sculp. Lower sets with heavy weight forces it to grow, get bigger. So if someone wants to get big they need to be upping weight or they will pategue, i think! good point about the form thing though, i notice people doing some stupidly heavy weights but they are all over the shop, its better do do heavy as poss with good form so that muscle is targeted, if ur moving all over the shop it takes the pressure of the muscle you are targeting
mickh
27th January 2007, 17:50
Yeah the idea is ..you give the muscles more stress than they are used to or they will stay the same..More reps everytime does that.I should have said that i was only refering to biceps and triceps.Legs would need a lot of weight because of the size of the muscle.

That's the major problem with working out, too many experts think they know what's best.
However there are truths to be found quite easily. Most principles have been the same for 50yrs. eg. to build mass 1gm protein per pound of body weight is a good starting point. Eat only essential fats and lift correctly. Eating 5-6 small but protein filled meals a day is the way to lean body mass. Everything else is just window dressing for companies trying to sell you something.
If there was more a community spirit instead of the attitude seen in the first post we would all advance together. Being a closed minded human always ends up badly.
No offence to anyone, just my thoughts.

Yep i very much agree, the "basic" advice id give is eat well and sleep well and go the gym. its not rocket science to get "buff". And like you said alot of the crap is made up, i think this about alot of the exercises people do also in the gym,
