Gear Knob Help

Hi,

My mate has a 1.1sx P reg Saxo. He recently bought a new gear knob and cant get the old one off. How does he get it off.

Tried pulling hard, but wont budge.

try the pull and twist technique while sitting in the back of the car mate, ive heard of people pulling the whole stick out so be careful get some one to hold the stick while you pull ;)

You'er not pulling hard enough! They do come off eventually. Hacksaw it off as a final resort, just above the base of the knob!
