Just done a moneysupermarker search for insurance and this "Simple Cover" came up, seems to be a company of Norwich Union and they've done me a quote on my saxo fully comp for 563£, and I can add legal cover for an extra 22£, curtesy car for another 17£ and injury insurance for about 16£.

Has anybody been with these?
There 600£+ cheaper than anywhere else!!

They won't give me a cover on my car, as I didn't think they would because it's part of the Norwich Union group and you need to be 21+ to be insured on a VTR.

Yeah but for me its just sexual! :D

Really? Or are you taking the piss?

Sometimes I wish I kept the Westcoast, but I love the VTR.

Not at all matey, all that car needed was to be lowered and it would have been awesome!

You then turned to the dark side and left me and adam with our 1.4s :P

You prolly would have been financialy better off too ;)

Luke

Suppose you have a point and I did love that Westcoast aswell.

I had this discussion with my parents and we agreed in the long run it was the best to get rid of the 1.4. Simply because I knew the clutch was going, leak in the boot, gearbox was leaking oil and it had 65,000 miles on the clock.

Still wish I could have both though.

that prolly could of all been sorted for cheap, and 65000 is nothing, mine has 59, cammedvtr's is 100+ you had plenty of life left in her ;)

True mate, but I didn't wanna be forking out month after month for it but I know I got a good one in the VTR.

21,600 miles on the clock, I reckon it's good for another 115k.

You hope ;)

Luke

Don't you worry, it has and will be looked after so I reckon it should be ok.

I change the oil every 6,000 myself, I don't boot it until warm, I don't redline it and I drive it pretty sensibly.

Think I should be fine.
