As some of you (not many im guessing) will know Im swapping my crappy
Angel Headlights for Morettes soonish.
While im getting them fitted I decided I would get some nice bulbs to
compliment the morettes.

Im getting some nice white LEDs but the H4 bulbs im after are these:

Demon Tweeks used to sell thses bulbs but no longer do. Cant find anywhere
else in the UK now that sells them.
I dont mind buying these off this American site but im guessing their H4 is
the same as our H4 bulbs? And also im not 100% sure they are even legal
over here and will be suitable for my car.

I might just give PIAA a call later on but was just wondering what you guys
thought?

they should be legal over here as they are the right wattage. its only the headlights that are not legal as they point the light to the wrong side its not the bulbs.

just them an email and see what they say or just get some 110w from UK thats what i have done.

as long as the wattage is 60/55w they will be legal. things like 100/80w are not etc.

I dont like the idea of having transformers to have the HID lights.
So next best thing would be something like these imo.

I have Ring Ice white bulbs in at the moment and tbh its just BS, same as
a standard bulb. But then again they cost me £15 so thats the reason why.

you could try the following:

philips blue vision / vision plus / silver vision
osram silverstar

Cheers KC Saxo,
the PIAA seem to be of a much better standard than other bulbs.
But at the same time they are still road legal.

Think I may just get the ones off Demon Tweeks then the time comes.

Thanks again as usual all.

Ive seen these in a sax, they are pretty nice. Proper white, but way overpriced if you did find them somewhere else the guy who had them in his saxo said they cost 160 quid for the fogs, main bulbs and sidelights.

Ive got Phillips blue vision, the main and full beam are very white to the eye, but they come out yellow in pictures for some reason. The sidelights they give you that are also meant to be white are pretty much yellow. So im gonna get some quad LED sidelight bulbs in white off ebay to sort them out. Would reccomend the main mbulbs though mate.

Cool, a lot of people have recommended the Philips Blue visions.
I have the white LEDS in mine and they look pretty cool.

i had similar bulbs to the piaa extreme in my classic mini and my civic, there 110/120w if i remember correctly, and i have some on the way for my vts, the light off them is pure white and they are the best i've seen around and they only cost me £4.88 for the pair posted.
