After you have done the pass plus course, do you have to wait for the certificate to come though before you get the code to prove to insurance you've done it or can you phone them up sooner to get it?
If you can who do you phone?

i thought they give it to you straight after.
i wouldnt know i never did it. i just said i did. bcos i intended on doing it and you get 30 days to send it in. and i never got round to it. and insurers never asked for proof.

I didn't have to wait for it to get my insurance price. I told them I had it but I hadn't got the certificate yet and they gave me a deadline to get it to them by.

Nah the instuctor sends it off nd apparently you have to wait 30days for the certificate.Must be able to get it if you phone them.
you can add it at a later date but they charge a bit extra if you do that.well Quinn do.
Wouldnt that of made your insurance invalid?

i had to wait for the certicate then sent the insurance company a photo copy of it . i got 20 % off
i think you can ring and do it and get the certificate number you would have to speak to the driving instuctor you did the course with and ring your insurance company up

i've just had this problem, as my insurance gave me 30 days, extended it 2 60, and the certificate still hadnt came
best thing to do is ring the DSA, and get you r certificate number
and then ring your insurance with it, ask them if they will accept a fax from the DSa of the certificate, then you send your proper 1 in when you get it
ring the DSA and theyl fax it 4 u, and send your proper copy out that day!
