Hi! Just a quick queiry, I've just brought dimma grill. I was going to go to the bodyshop and get it sprayed at the same time as my boot.
I'm going to do the grill myself because I'm not doing my boot, but I need paint to do it. None of the motorfactors have the paint (topaz Gold), I want to know how much it is from Citroen? and if any one else has done it themselves?

Yeh, that's what I did for my Mauritius Blue. It's £9.99 for a 300ml can, so will be far cheaper than whatever Citroen will want. You need your colour code though, as they look it up on their computer to find out what colours to put in the mixture.

If you're going to use Halfords to get your paint mixed up then take your fuel cap in with you so they can do a proper match...

Despite the paint code... the shade of the colour varies from batch to batch therefore having the fuel cap will ensure that the wally mixing your paint up will actually get a good match.

After you buy your paint/laquer/primer it will work out around the same price a bodyshop would charge you... I'd rather have a pro do it and pay the same than me do it and risk it looking gash because halfords are useless..

Cloud is rite i made this mistake, and made a mess of it, then took it to the bodyshop who charged just 20quid to strip it down n spray it. So just get a bodyshop to do it

That's not what they do. They don't strictly colour match, they only simply produce any colour from the colour code.
