Ok angel eye guys, i have a few questions:
1. Do the electric motor fit to them?
I couldnt find anywhere for them to go ;)
2. How do you adjust their height
My dipped beam is a little low
3. Misting
Mine misted up the night i fitten them, the next night only one misted up so tonight im hoping i will have no mist, anyone else noticed this?
4. HID Kits
On the side theres a little warning about using HID 'balbs' in them. Im guesing this is just referring to the Projectors so it would be ok to use an HID kit for your full beam?
I guess that will do for now. What an improvement those projectors make though and the rings give the front of the saxe a really sinister stare:A:
Cheers

I dont think you can adjust them via the motors as they are an aftermarket light fitting, or atleast thats what i read somewhere not so long ago. I think you have to manually adjust them.

Adjuster motors dont work on my Pug Halos mate. Doubt they will work on
the MK2 Saxo ones.
DOnt think HID kits are suitable for these headlights bud either.

Ta,
I dont see why they wouldnt be suitable for the fullbeal lights though, its just a regular H1 setup. Surely it just means the projectors?
Im not planning on putting a HID Kit in anyway, just trying to create a sort of FAQ so people dont have to keep making threads :)

ive got phase one angels an they cant be adjusted with the motor, mine have 3 tourqe type screws on the top in various positions. the one which is hard to see (at the bottom/back) is the one i found to raise and lower the lights.

I saw an Ebay Auction for Angels (not sure what car) and it stated that
HID kits should not be used with them.
I will have a look for you mate but im 80% certain you cant.
Also just to add, the adjusters should be bolts that you turn (with a screw
driver). You turn then clockwise/anti clockwise to adjust the height.
This is how you do it on my 106 ones. Should be the same principle for
the Saxo MK2 ones I reckon.
The adjusters are found on the rear casing of the headlight unit.
Hope this helps.

These ones state you need to modify them to fit HIDs...

Cheers Guys, i think that about answers my questions for now. Ill update this later with more info to be used as a reference :y:
The rear of those mk2 Pug ones are identical to the rear of the mk2 saxos (a slightly different layout though of course)

i think you can use the bulbs but not the proper kits where you have to mod it and that cause the guy who sells em on here is selling the brighter bulbs with em and he said they will be fine

No the electric motor doesn't fit... they are fitted with manual adjusters as standard...
2. How do you adjust their height
My dipped beam is a little low
there is an adjuster on the back of the unit... if you look on the light it actually says which way to twist them to adjust in each direction
3. Misting
Mine misted up the night i fitten them, the next night only one misted up so tonight im hoping i will have no mist, anyone else noticed this?
Mine misted when i first fitted them... they only mist on extremely cold nights.. but clear when i put the headlights on... im sure if you took your sidelight bulb out and turned your headlights on then the water trapped in them would evaporate and then no longer mist up.
4. HID Kits
On the side theres a little warning about using HID 'balbs' in them. Im guesing this is just referring to the Projectors so it would be ok to use an HID kit for your full beam?
No i don't think you can use HID kits, although you can fit them with the brighter, more powerful xenon bulbs..although the standard bulbs seem pretty bright already...
Hope that helps
Alex
