Hi people, just wondered who is insured on a VTS at 19 with 2 yrs ncb, i currently have a vtr and looking to upgrade to a 2002 VTS, I have been quoted £960.00 so far with elephant,
I am currently with quinn but dont think they will insure me on a VTS because of my age!
Any help appreciated,
Levi

Yeh quinn were a bit hessitant as to wether i could insure a VTR, so im sure they wouldnt a VTS, i didnt think that my quote was too bad, just got one with elephant for that VTS, with my gf whos 2 years older as a named drive, i got it for 760 tpft, would it be wise to go fully comp on a 3300 car tho?

That's entirely up to you. Normally insurance companies make you take out fully comprehensive insurance if your car's worth over £5k.
But... do not take out a TPF&T policy "just because it's cheaper" because if you were involved in an at fault accident, your car will not be repaired (unless you were to pay for the repairs yourself). It's best to work out the actual price differences between the two and see if it's worth it. I think you should go fully comprehensive.
Have you tried Adrian Flux? Might be able to get you some discount. If interested, PM me.

well my mate is paying £860 for 10month bonus accelerator with elephant fully comp on an 2003 vts.
he has not long turned 18 and has 1years ncb.
Tips for elephant- add a Female named driver with lots of NCB, also if they are a housewife it helps. DOnt put yourself as working in pubs or bars or as a student.
